You can set whether Preview opens multiple image files in separate windows or in the same window. You can also add files or pages to a PDF that’s already open.

Note: To open multiple PDFs in the same window, you need to open System Preferences, click General, then choose Always from the “Prefer tabs when opening documents” menu. See Open folders in new Finder tabs or windows.
Change preferences for opening image files
- Along with Zip files (.zip and.zipx), WinZip 16.5 and later allows you to extract from multiple 7Z, CAB, ISO, IMG, LHA, LZH and RAR files. Earlier WinZip versions will only allow you to extract from multiple Zip files (.zip and.zipx) and multiple self-extracting archives in the Zip file format.
- Click ' Select zip file to extract ' to open the file chooser. Drag and drop the zip file directly onto the unzip files panel. It will start the file extraction and list the contents of the zip file once complete. Click 'Save' on the individual files to save file to your local drive. Open each file in its own window: Uses one window for each file.
